Hopefully I will get started taking this thing apart this week.

Said good bye to the 51 for the last time.

The number of the Beast!

So other day I was cruising around picking up some stuff for the Bike and 3 times in one day my total was 666 for purchases towards my bike. It must be a sign.

Cafe Red.

The 1975 CB175ss belongs to a guy named Coal. The customizing was done partly buy the PO, I had my hand an a fair bit of it because it was an incomplete project when Coal bought it. Shortly after it was ridable, it lost compression, probably the rings gave out and shattered from improper storage recovery break in. I installed a Lifan 200cc single on it which required heavy engine mount modification, complete rewiring, and many other head aches. This gave new life to an otherwise doomed classic. I hate to see the engine swap but it was the best option for this mount.

74 Dirt Machine.

The 1974 XL125 was picked up in front of the recycler where I bought it for $25 from a guy about to scrap it! Don't ever do that people! I got a 1972 SL125 and used engine parts from it to repair the burnt XL thumper. This is a top to bottom build. -Jon

Mini Racer

So this weekend after getting my bike tuned up... got to talking with the mechanic and he has offered up some of his builds and projects for the blog. He even wrote descriptions for me. I get to be a lazy son of a bitch!

The 1975 CB125s was picked up in Santee where it had been sitting in a barn since 1978 (33 years). The gas tank was still full, nasty! Stripped it to bare bones and brought it back, she fired on the second kick after resto. Cafe'd her, rode for a while and sold, I miss it.
